Psalm 73:25
"Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee."
Still in the mood of the New Year. HAPPY NEW YEAR.
With the lights and the brightness of the seasons still lingering, we should desire our Lord Jesus Christ in all things. The psalmist knew that before he ran into any humanistic problems there was solution and that there would always be solution. The key in his hand was the desire he had for God. He believed God that for every problem there is always solution. Therefore, he desired GOD.
This New Year question to our audience is who would you desire most in all things? From the days of Abraham to the days of King David and from the days of King David to the Babylonian captivity; from Babylonian captivity days to the days of our Lord Jesus Christ, God Had DIVINE SOLUTION by His various divine methods and formulae for those that desire HIM. Whom you desire you run to.
In our generation, God Has not changed. He is still the same. His standards have not changed. He wants us to desire HIM in all things and above all things. Seek God this year as a priority. Matthew 6:33 Says “But seek ye first………………… Do not allow the devil to deceive you and defeat you for ever. Seeking God first in all things will equate to your priority desire. When you double your spiritual efforts your physical efforts would also double. God is still doing HIS wonders only if we can desire HIM!!!!!
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for the journey so far this year, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, thank you for the big measure of grace and mercy you granted to me and my family, in Jesus Name.
3) Father, I desire your signs and wonders in all areas of my life this year, in Jesus Name.
4) Father, I desire more of you today an for ever, in Jesus Name.
5) Father, this year 2015 and beyond, do not allow the devil to grieve me and my family in Jesus Name.
6) Father, let me and my household experience divine solution in all of our problems even before they even arise, in Jesus Name.
7) Lord I desire your Holy Spirit guidance in all things this New Year 2015 in Jesus Name. Amen.
