“DEFENDING YOUR DESTINY” Part 1 : Wednesday January 18

1 Samuel 17:34-35

"And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father's sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock. 35 And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth : and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard , and smote him, and slew him"

At tender age of David, the whole Israel was able to know his destiny; even the lions and bears saw his great destiny. The lions and bears did not only come for the flock, but they came for David’ destiny. The Bible passages above say “and when he arose against me”. The lion against David’s destiny.

David did not shy away. He rose up to defend his destiny because God was with him as the chosen. To defeat the Goliath of the Philistines was part of his destiny. Stand up and with God on your side, you will be able to defend your destiny, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Brethren, God Has put our destinies into our hands. Be bold against every circumstance that represents lions and bears. They came to attack the destiny of David, but he (David) wrestled with the lions and bears to defend his life in readiness for bigger battle ahead (Goliath). God’s divine strength was able to allow David to defend his destiny. Empty yourself of the fear that may want to creep in, to slow down the pace of meeting up with your destiny. Rise up and defend your destiny. Amen.
