1 John1: 9
"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
The above passage has been exposed by the Holy Spirit as our need for rightly seeking the face of the Almighty God. Therefore, it will be a series on 1) CONFESSION, 2) HE IS FAITHFUL AND JUST, 3) TO FORGIVE OUR SINS, 4) CLEANSING FROM UNRIGHTEOUSNESS.
Confession is what we declare with our mouth, but from heart. A confession not pronounced outwardly from inside out is not a true confession. So the question now is, what do we need to confess?
Our confession can range from the truth that “Jesus is Lord” to the truth that, “The earth is the Lords” and the reality that the “Lord is my shepherd”. It is possible for your confession to be the foundation and the pillar of your destiny. Remember, what you confess you posses. Confess healing and you shall be healed. Confess holiness and you shall be made holy. Confess greatness and you shall be great. God is more than able to work you through and up the ladder.
However, it is paramount that you confess your sins to God and man. Find someone; a spiritual partner to be accountable in the process. Genuinely repent. Assess your progress. Genuine and Godly repentance leads to Godliness, but worldly repentance leads to worldliness and more sinful actions. Genuinely confess your sins. God is faithful and just to respond accordingly.
