Jeremiah 31: 12
"Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall, flow together to the goodness of the Lord, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all."
In order to connect with the reality of the above passage and it’s series of reflection, it is suggested that you read the all five parts to know that our God works in progressive sequence in our lives. The first part was about the nation that had just experienced defeat and captivity; that God declared and called them to come together just to sing; so as to flow in HIS goodness, to the extent where they would not sorrow any more at all!
Singing is one of the things that God uses to put man back in the place of restoration, to get back their joy regardless of the extent of the captivity. They were instructed to leave the banks of the rivers of Babylon and come up in the height of Zion. That meant that they should leave the low level and come up higher to sing.
It is the season of new song and you will sing your song of resurrection in Jesus Mighty Name. As we celebrate Easter this year, somebody’s story will change and will begin to sing his/her own new song of resurrection. The final part is an assurance that we have been singing enough at the banks of the river if Babylon, where the people were singing in sorrows and nothing really changed, because they were singing in sorrow to remember their old glory of Zion. Now God is speaking to someone. Come to the height of ZION, where there is no sorrow any more at all. God Himself is waiting for you in Zion.
