Psalms 126:1

"When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream"

Captivity can be any kind of bondage, trouble, challenge of life and it may be spiritual or physical. We can discover from the above passage that no one can deliver Zion except God who knows how best to work deliverance that is unexpected.

The deliverance of Zion was unexpected when it came. Zion had been in bondage from all forms of serious attacks that led Zion to wandering if God still loved them. Many Christians today are experiencing what Zion experienced. Their hopes seem to be vanishing, because they are living under the pressure and pain and with no likelihood of hope restoration. However God, the Most High God suddenly showed up. The captivity was overturned. Hope was lifted up and restored.

There is still good news for someone reading this devotional today. You will jubilate, laugh and celebrate when God shows up. It will be the day you have been waiting for. God arose and touched the land under captivity. Zion had lost all hope, but the Lord turned around and over the bad circumstances unexpectedly. Zion waited upon the Lord and He showed up. Your life is in the hands of God. He is the Alpha and Omega. Set your total reliance on God for total deliverance and He will unexpectedly and suddenly show up to deliver.
