1 Peter 2:24
"Who is own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose strips ye were healed."
When the above passage is compared with Isaiah 53:4, the last statement says ” with His stripes we are healed” is a revelation that in the present and continued future, we should be living divinely-healthy packaged lives. Hence, God has been merciful to make available for us the knowledge to live healthy, i.e. the doctors and the nurses amongst diligently abiding in the God to maintain spiritual health.
In the book of Genesis God was the original Doctor, who gave the first insight into anesthesia, by putting Adam to sleep as not to have any pain when Eve was being brought out. That part of the Bible explains the essence of the mystery of the medical rhetoric knowledge.
Our bodies were supposed to last forever except the fall of man changed it. Hence another great man JESUS was raised, given unto us, He was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities, and the chastisement of our peace was imputed upon him. He was severely humiliated so that we could have honor. Yet man is still falling into sin to this day, sin that is capable of bringing illness. Why would man allow this? It is due to what is at the center of man’s life. The tree that caused disobedience and sin was at the center of the garden. Let Jesus into the center of your life. The primary healing that we need first is divine healing from sin and secondly we need the spirit to live in us, displacing sin so that we can experience divine health, made possible by HIS STRIPES.
Prayer points for the day
- 1) Father, thank you for the month of divine healing because of the availing stripes of Jesus, in Jesus Name.
- 2) Lord, thank you for the rest of this year and indeed my life in advance, in Jesus Name.
- 3) Father, thank you for the gift of another day of peace, in Jesus Name.
- 4) Father, thank you for the peace that will prevail in the land, in Jesus Name.
- 5) Lord, thank you for victory of healing this month, in Jesus Name.
- 6) Lord, let there be miracle of healing in the assembly of God, in Jesus Name.
- 7) Lord, let miracles prevail over medical in my life, in Jesus Name.
- 8) Father, let my body be free from any disease, in Jesus Name.
- 9) Almighty God, I commit my entire life into your hand purify me to eternity, in Jesus Name.
- 10) Father, this month, let there be miracles of supernatural healing, in our assembly, in Jesus Name. Amen.
