“BUT WHERE ARE THE NINE? Part III : Thursday November 17

Luke 17:17

"And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?

Jesus is asking you today “are you part of the nine or you are the one” the nine who disregarded the blessing of healing or the one that gave glory for blessing of healing? From the above passage, one would discover that the nine chose to walk away with the blessing while it was also a choice for the only one to go back to Jesus and gave HIM glory, worshipped and adored HIM.

Many Christians today are living with inadequate or no thanksgiving for so may reasons. Whereas there are many reasons for us to be thankful to our maker and creator. Some are being carried away with the blessing and forgot to fulfill their vows and pledges. Some may want more and more testimonies before they thank God. Some wait until the testimonies are full and complete. Some would even say they are shy to thank God in front of congregation. Some put off thanksgiving till tomorrow that never comes. All amount to excuses. We should live everyday full of gratitude to God in everything 1 Thess. 5:18, which is also what God wills.

Brethren, lives of thanksgiving should be unconditional towards God as much as the love of God towards us. There are enough reasons for us to be thankful. The breath of our nostril is free, while the artificial oxygen is not. Should we not be grateful in all things? Answer this question in your hearts and be truth to thy selves. Thanksgiving should be a daily lifestyle, and that is what pleases God. Let us put God first and thank HIM in all circumstances because He Has the final verdict upon all things on earth, in heaven and beneath the earth. Praise Him. Thank HIM and Bless HIM like King David in the Bible. Amen
