“BUT THOU SHALL LOVE THY NEIGHBOR”. Part II: Tuesday February 2

Leviticus 19:18

“Thou shall not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shall love thy neighbor as thyself : I am the Lord.”

God Has spoken and hopeful the church is listening and complying? If not, this is another opportunity to re assess your position about *love* How do you love thy neighbor? If you avenge offense or bear grudges you are not grounded in love and you do not know what love means from the side of Jesus Christ.

This is where the unconditional love comes in. Love that is not based on reciprocity, or on contract with expiry dates. Love that is given with or without being loved. Love that is not tied to whatever you receive or not from the other side of love. You just love because God Had commanded us to love.

To be grounded in love you need to yield to God and follow the principles of God’s love. Loving thy neighbor as thyself. Do unto others what you want others to do to you. Love the unloveable and treat others with the level of love you love for thyself. Complying with “Thou shall love thy neighbor as thyself” as commanded by God is a credit to your divine account in heaven. Praise God. Amen!!!!
