“BEYOND MEASURES” – Final

Mark 7:37

"And were beyond measures astonished, saying, He hath done all things well: He maketh both the deaf to hear and the dumb to speak"

In Mark 7: 34 Jesus used a powerful word in the spiritual realm to heal the sick people. He must have gotten the word out of revelation from God the Father. The word was Eph- pha- tha meaning “Be Opened” and so down to verse 37 miracles beyond measure began to happen to the people.

My concern today is what happened to this EPH-PHA-THA, healing word?  Is this healing word as potent as when Jesus used it? Is this word still being used by Christians today? If only we can focus on what Jesus focused on, I am sure that this powerful word could still be operative today. These days we focus more on the people and not on the power of the gospel. Jesus was focused 100% on the spiritual. Jesus never focused on the recognition of this world, but instead on heavenly instructions.

Falling for the things of the world will make us lose what Jesus continuously embodied. Jesus refused to fall for the temptation of the devil and He remained intact in the power of the word of God. With the help of the Holy Spirit, we can be what Jesus was and do what Jesus did and even more. Jesus had left us with the grace of greater works only if we are willing to pay the price. Let us strive to endure like Jesus in all things.
