“BEHOLD, I SEE THE HEAVENS OPENED” Part 1 : Monday May 8

Acts 7:55-56

55) "But he, being full of Holy Ghost, looked up steadfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, 56) And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.

The above Bible passages are the continuation of Stephen’s stoning by the enemies of the Gospel of Christ. They are categorically described in verse 51 ; as stiff-necked and uncircumcised in hearts and ears that always resist the Holy Ghost. Open heavens have become strange to them. They lived life as unto themselves only.

As a true child of God, you may not be stoned like Stephen, but might have been otherwise stoned. Do not look down dejected or your surroundings. Look up to witness the glory of God. The glory of God is seen when the heavens are opened.

When they “stone” you by any means do not look unto them, but unto God of heavens and earth. Stephen got eternal victory. He saw Jesus and the heavens opened before he finally gave up the ghost. Jesus is with us as our “open heavens” making sure that every stone thrown at you will become a blessing, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Prayer points for the day

1) Father, thank you for another day of open heavens in your presence, in Jesus Name.

2) Lord, thank you for the daily forgiveness and renewing mercy upon my life and family, in Jesus Name.

3) Abba Father, let my heavens open on daily basis, in Jesus Name.

4) Lord, turn every “stone” thrown at my life into signs and wonders, in Jesus Name,

5) Father, give me strength to outlive every “stone” of the wicked, in Jesus Name.

6) Abba Father, open heavens above my head and make me a point of reference for your overwhelming blessings, in Jesus Name.

7) Abba Father, let me continually see you in glory of glory, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Have a blessed and wonderful day!
