Proverbs 11:30
"The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life ; and he that winneth souls is wise"
Because of what is going on around in the world, from inequality of justice and all of man made economic woes, many souls are dying spiritually and even physically. People now live for themselves and looking out for themselves. Christians are having sinful and suicidal thoughts every day.
There are so much hopeless cases all around us and we have refused or afraid to speak out. This reminds me of my days in Corporate America, when it was reported that a high ranking officer committed suicide. His name was Biblical and was supposed to be a Christian. Young and prosperous in his early 40’s. He was surrounded by Christians who noticed his strange behaviors in his last days, but could not speak the word of life to him!!! He was facing some pressures on the job and could no longer held on to life. When his suicide was announced over the radio, it was too little too late to save his souls.
All the Christians around this man felt disappointed with themselves especially the Bible study group ; which one of them could have initiated somethings. God does not want any soul to perish. Therefore, let us awake to our Christians obligations. Souls winning is a commandment. The soul you minister to might become the giant killer for the Lord tomorrow. Speak out, loud and do your part. Your little part would be made to have impact by God, in Jesus Name. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for the second day to live for you, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, thank you for having mercy on my soul, in Jesus Name.
3) Father, thank you for being my fortress and shield in these perilous times, in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, thank you for giving me the opportunity to be part of your Kingdom, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, let my little part of thy Kingdom here on earth have impact in my generation, in Jesus Name.
6) Father, let me experience the miracle of souls winning, in Jesus Name.
7) Lord, let my tree of life be acceptable before you as righteous, in Jesus Name. Amen.
