AS SAMUEL WAS OFFERING” Final Part : Thursday November 29

1 Samuel 7: 9-10

"And Samuel took a suckling Lamb, and offered it for a burnt offering wholly unto the Lord: and Samuel cried unto the Lord for Israel; and the Lord heard him. (Samuel)- 10) And as Samuel was offering up the burnt offering, the Philistines drew near to battle against Israel: but the Lord thundered with a great thunder on that day upon the Philistines, and discomforted them; and they were smitten before Israel."

Prayers may be delayed because of the principalities and powers in the high places, but sacrifice and sound of thanksgivings are too much for those principalities to interrupt. They did it to Daniel in his prayers, reference – Daniel 10:13 and verse 20 where the princes of Persia and Grecia withstood speedy answers against Daniel, but they could not do it to Paul and Silas, in Acts 16:25-26. God showed up without delays to their prayers and praises.

Prayers could go amiss, but praise and thanksgiving cannot be amiss. The devil could listen, interpret and intercept prayers, but not praise and worship. Prayers go to God, but God comes down to worship. Remember, God was looking for Adam and Eve in the cool of the day to join them in fellowship and worship. Like Samuel, what is your Ebenezer this season? What can you point to as your stone of thanksgiving?

From now on, let your worries be turned into praise and worship and watch all the battles of your life turned into unexpected and miraculous blessing ; that will make the world amazed about you and that situation troubling you. As we close this season of thanksgiving, God is able to visit you and family for your own Ebenezer, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Prayer points for the day

1) Father, thank you for the blessing of this season, in Jesus Name.

2) Lord, for your forgiveness of my iniquities, I say thank you Lord, in Jesus Name.

3) Lord, for redemption of my soul from every destruction, thank you Lord, in Jesus Name.

4) Lord, for keeping my family at large in your protection and provision, thank you Lord, in Jesus Name.

5) Father, for making me a monument of thanksgiving, thank you Father, in Jesus Name.

6) Father, as we close this season, let there be an end to all my failures and shortcomings, in Jesus Name.

7) Abba Father, let my life reflect the power of thanksgiving, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Have a blessed and wonderful day!
