”AND THE LORD VISITED”. Part 1: Wednesday June 10

Genesis 21:1

“And the Lord visited Sarah as He Had said, and the Lord Did unto Sarah as He Had spoken. “

The Lord’s visit is always divine and whenever God decides to visit it would be either for favor for someone or vengeance on behalf of the oppressed. God spoke into the lives of Sarah and Abraham to visit them and at the appointed time they were visited. In this particular reference of God’s visit, the couple was notified and they positioned themselves expecting the day of their visitation; hence they did not miss that important day.

Abraham and Sarah were already old. The people around them considered them as such. They (Abraham & Sarah ) themselves concurred with what the people considered them to be, but God Had a different opinion more than what the people can say or think. The word of God superseded what men said. His word took place and supernatural subdued all the natural trends. Amen.

Have you heard from God lately, through studying His word, or hearing from Him through prophets, teachers, counselors or in dreams/vision? Hold on to what God Has said about your situation. God cannot forget about you. Your situation is not out of the purview of God. He knows the time to visit and redeem you. Abraham and Sarah were visited after a long time of waiting and their stories change to become the glory of God; since that Bible days and up to this generation. Amen.
