“AND THE LORD VISITED HANNAH” Part 1: Monday July 19

1 Samuel 2:21

“And the Lord visited Hannah, so that she conceived, and bare three sons and two daughters, And the child Samuel grew before the Lord.”

By now we know that whenever God decided to visit any one, there is a purpose. In the case above. Hannah and many others were in Shiloh that year, and the the Lord visited Hannah, and that visit was divine to produce the birth of Samuel; the long awaited child after many years that was not disclosed, but at the end she was blessed with five additional children plus Samuel.

Hannah was loved by her husband, but his love cannot help her out of the problem. The second wife Peninah hated Hannah with passion and all kinds of oppressions. She never thought that God was watching and would move to break the yoke of oppression in the life of Hannah; who was regularly comforted by her husband Elkanah. The comfort of man is not sufficient enough to bring solution to Hannah. However man comforts man, God Has the final comforting power. In the final, Hannah shifted her attention to God for comfort and that provoked God’s divine visitation. 

Hannah sought comfort from the Lord rather from man. Brethren, there is hope for those that seek comfort from God. Hannah’s season was fast tracked because of prayers at Shiloh. She poured out her heart towards God and God’s heart was moved towards her. Amen. 

Prayer points for the day

1. Father, thank you visiting my life to preserve my spirit and soul, in Jesus Name.
2. Father, as you visited Hannah in the area of her critical lack, visit me and let me be blessed in every area of my critical lack, in Jesus Name.
3. Father, step into my foundation and settle me eternally, in Jesus Name.
4. Lord, visit my life and let there be fullness of your power, in Jesus Name.
5. Father, visit my life and and let me continue to hear from you good news, in Jesus Name. 
6. Father, as I shift my attention to you the more, remember me, in Jesus Name. 
7. Lord, visit every yoke in my life and set me free completely this month seven, in Jesus Name. Amen.
