… AND HAVE OVERCOME THEM” Part 1: Tuesday May 25

1 John 4:4

"Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world"

NLT
"But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world."

The opening sentence is an assurance of victory to the confirmed Children of God. Are you a confirmed little child of the most High God? Victory is assured over “those people” or “them” as stated by KJV. Who are those people or them”? You may not even know who they are! Some may be in the same household with us. Such people are in the darkness or even in the open to monitor your purpose in life. They monitor your purpose not because they have your interest at heart, but to do contrary things.

However, God Has assured you of victory. If we can only declare our lives and families as properties of God, who owns the heaven and earth, then we shall be over-comers always not because we are too righteous but because we carry the power of one that Has power over all situations and circumstances; inside of us. That means, we have HIM present with us always.

It is the best thing for us to cling to this GOD. Live under HIS name and you do not have to fight with your own limited powers. He is greater than everything else put together in this our contemporary world. Please note that the greater and higher power live inside of you and is for one thing victory and victory only. Amen.

Prayer points for the day

1. Father, thank you for another day of glorious victory, in Jesus Name.
2. Lord, thank you for the victory you have already won for us, in Jesus Name.
3. Father, give me glorious victory against those people whether I know them or not, planning war against my victory, in Jesus Name.
4. Lord, prepare me for my victory to the end, in Jesus Name.
5. Lord, give me victory against all that monitor my purpose in life, in Jesus Name.
6. Father, I will not be a loser in any form, in Jesus Name.
7. Lord, I declare my family and myself your properties, fight for us in Jesus Name. Amen.
