“AGAINST THE DAY OF BATTLE” Part 1 : Wednesday April 26

Proverbs 21:31

"The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the Lord"

The book of Proverbs was said to be put together by Solomon in his young age, Ecclesiastes in his middle age and Songs of Solomon in his old age. These books of the Bible actually reflected the reality of those times in the life of King Solomon. The Biblical passage above is indeed proverbial.

This our life is full of battles, but the passage refers to “the horse” which is prepared. The reality was that Horses were used to transport warriors to battle fronts in those Bible days and both the warriors and the horses were always prepared for the battle, to prevent defeat.

With the Lord of the battle on our side. Brethren; in the battle of life we will not lose in Jesus Name. Be prepared but realize that the battle is of the Lord. Do not take any people for granted. Soak yourself in the blood of Jesus. Confess Jesus. Proclaim Jesus not any other things. Be on the Lord’s side and the Lord would be on your side always. Why should we be sober and vigilant because the next person beside you might be the adversary under one satanic influence or the other. Be prepared, but look unto the Lord of the war and battle for safety and victory. Amen.

Prayer points for the day

1) Father, thank you for all your loving kindness and mercy over me, in Jesus Name.

2) Father, thank you for your power of victory over sin, in my life, in Jesus Name.

3) Lord, go ahead of me of any appearances of battle or war for ultimate victory, in Jesus Name.

4) Lord, prepare me in thy name for anything like wars for victory, in Jesus Name.

5) Lord, let me begin to soar to victorious level, in Jesus Name.

6) Father, let me and my family live eternally under your eternal victory, in Jesus Name.

7) Almighty God, my eyes are unto you, let me life be unspeakably victorious, in Jesus Name. Amen and Amen.

Have a blessed and wonderful day!
