Revelations 22:1
"And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb"
Clear as crystal is an emphasis that the river and indeed all things that God is involved (His ways, instructions, power, grace, etc) are clear without any confusion. If anyone is in doubt; the Bible is available to check, and still if not clear, there are tons of means to get the word of God with clear understanding.
However, our world is so much filled with all kinds of contaminations that have tainted the clarity and the flow of the “pure river” (the word of God). There is much going on around us in our world that “clear as crystal ” seems impossible.
Going back to the pure river of water of life, there is no river in the world that can offer what this river can. It carries the power of God from the throne of grace to give life radiance, even to those who just get to its banks. This river is full of the glory of both celestial and terrestrial. It is pure and it can purify us. It is one river that is full of the glory of God’s holiness. It is a river that removes sin, shame and mourning. Take a decision today and get closer to JESUS more than before; and the brightness of this river will reflect on you. Ignore those slipping down the hill, not to affect you. They are distractions. Get your own focus straight, because there is nothing in your power to do that can change them. Pray for them and hand them over to the Holy Spirit to help them. The closer you are to Christ the more light you get and darkness will be a thing of the past. Praise God!
