Titus 2:14

"Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar people zealous of good works"

There are four things that stand out from the scriptures above. The first thing is Jesus Christ giving up Himself for us as part of the Father’s plan to redeem us. If we all agree to this;  and we are His peculiar people and  Christians, it is essential for us to accept the unusual gift of giving up Himself for our redemption.

From Genesis to the time of Jesus’s birth the fingers of God Had been at work to redeem mankind from darkness to light. Jesus is the gift of light to mankind. The light that leads those that can follow Jesus till the end. Jesus is the sent and everlasting light. This Christmas season is a remarkable time to give up what can hinder our path to heaven. Heaven is real and hell is real. God is in charge of the universe.
Purity is a means to working with Jesus with expectation of doing what Jesus did. Jesus is an example of purity to follow and not man. Till the end, no one could find any faults with him, not even when He was under the persecution of the law. He stood firmly for His purpose to redeem the world. Let us stand firm in our purpose and hold on to our Christian Covenanted commitment to be like Jesus who stands to redeem us from all afflictions and oppressions. He is the answer not any one else. God bless you. Amen.
