Judges 13:5
"For, lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head: for the child shall be a Nazarite unto God from the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Israel out the hands of the Philistines"
Apart from our Lord Jesus who was said to be a Nazarite, Samson was the son that was predicted also to be a Nazarite; unto the Lord. That was a huge destiny ready to roll. He got the destiny similar to Jesus. What a great destiny! Samson – A Nazarite unto unto God was meant to be God’s spokesman. To be used of God, like our Lord Jesus Christ.
If you read the first part of this, Samson was the son under reference. He walked in the divine authority for a few years and began to manifest losing his destiny. It does not come suddenly, it is a gradual occurrence that degenerates if not addressed.
The price tags attached to being a Nazarite unto God are simple instruction. No razor to touch Samson’s head. No eating of unclean things. No strange women. No strong drink etc. These are some of the pre requisites towards great destiny of beginning the process delivering the first Israelites out of the Philistines oppression. You have an assignment for God inside your destiny. Do not work outside the loop of your destiny. No matter what the situation might look like, please co operate with God in the fulfillment of your destiny. Partial fulfillment of destiny is as good as non – fulfillment. Be a Nazarite to your family, society and generation.
Prayer points for the day
1) Lord, thank you for another opportunity to be alive today, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, thank you for the beginning and the ending of this year 2017, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, thank you for your loving kindness and mercy over my life, in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, thank you for keeping me going in my destiny, in Jesus Name.
5) Father, thank you for helping in my destiny, in Jesus Name.
6) Almighty God, do not let the enemy abort my destiny, in Jesus Name.
7) Father, let me and my family fulfill our destiny in a full fashion, in Jesus Name. Amen.
