Matthew 15:22

"And, behold, a woman of Canaan, came out of the same coasts, and cried unto HIM, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil"

Sweet mothers, thank you for the deep love you always have for children. This woman stood out among the mothers for she bore all the discouragements encountered from the disciples and Jesus. She was actually lost in finding divine help for her daughter, though she was not of the house of Israel. However, Jesus was intended for a Light to the Gentiles, but the fullness of time for that was not yet come.

The fact was that at the time this woman needed the help of Jesus, the veil was not yet rent and the wall of partition not yet taken down. It was after the resurrection that all the goodies of the gospel would be freely extended to the house of the Gentiles.

The focus of this week long devotional is not to give up the hope. No one is hopeless. God always provides help all the way. We are in times that we should be more steadfast in our pursuit of Christ. Leave no stone unturned to have access to Jesus. Do not be discouraged with  whatever the level of distractions around you. Romans 15:13 confirms that our God of hope will fill us with all joy and peace…The woman expressed faith of hope and she was never disappointed at last, because she got the help needed. Your divine helpers will show up this month of divine help in Jesus Name and there will be testimonies, in Jesus Name. Amen.
