“CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST”
Galatians 2:20
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”
Under the law Apostle Paul lived a condemned life, similar to many of us. However, when Christ was crucified, that was when Paul, you, and I were crucified along with Christ. The crucification was once and for all in order that we may love and live a crucified life like that of Paul, whose mission was to live a life with the remembrance of the works of Christ at Calvary in mind.
The Old Testament reveals that “The life of the flesh is in the blood.” There is a covenant of eternal life in the blood of Jesus and this covenant is eternal, hence Paul lived in the flesh, yet Jesus dwelled inside of him. Even until this day, satan is fighting to break us away from the covenant, but there is a divine and heavenly zeal already placed on the covenant. No power of darkness can deny us this covenant as long as Christ is dwelling within us.
There is power in the blood that was shed for us at Calvary. Jesus was not given to us based upon our good works or weaknesses; it was based upon God’s unconditional love for us. We were saved by faith, and we ought to live by faith and walk by faith. Having received by faith the gift of eternal life, we need to also reach out by faith to others so they too may be partakers of the gift. JESUS IS THE GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE. ALL IS BY YOUR FAITH.
Prayer points for the day
1) Lord, thank you for the month of August, 2013, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, let the blood avail to remove every darkness from my path to eternity, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, fire proof my life and my entire household until the end, in Jesus Name.
4) Father, nullify every judgment against me by the mercy of Grace in my life, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, as this year is progressing, let my life progress, in Jesus Name.
6) Almighty God, let the power in the blood avail for my total victory, in Jesus Name.
7) Lord, make a way for me and prove your power in my wilderness, in Jesus Name.
8) Lord, before this year ends, give me my own miracles to show the world that I am serving the living God, in Jesus Name. Amen
