“EXCEEDING GREAT JOY” Final Part: Friday December 6

Matthew 2:10

"When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy”

“They” in the above Bible passage is referring to the wise men. The joy the wise men had was unspeakable and unprecedented when they saw the star. The star was like our modern day GPS. It was special and unique on its own. Detailed study revealed that the wise men had never worshiped king Herod the way the new born KING Jesus was worshiped. King Herod was ignored when he requested the wise men to come and give him the report of the “new” born King.

The star was enough trouble, disturbance and restlessness to king Herod, but it was a thing of joy to the wise men who had heard about the prophecy of the birth of Jesus that was fulfilled. Your star will shine to the pleasure of your well wishers but to the trouble of your adversaries, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Brethren, let us focus on the star the wise men saw in our spirit and we would also experience exceeding great joy in the spirit. Joy is from the heart and not from what we see or what we do not see. Joy flows regardless of whatever troubles a true child of God. Troubles are temporary but your joy shall be permanent and everlasting, in Jesus Name.

Prayer points for the day

1) Father, thank you for the joy and peace around me, no matter what, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, give me joy and peace that sins cannot override and overrule, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, let my joy and peace be full because you are my salvation, in Jesus Name.
4) Father, give me joy and peace that will flow for ever like a river that cannot dry away, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, let me and my family continue with joy and peace into the new year 2020, in Jesus Name.
6) Father, make my joy to be exceeding and unspeakable, in Jesus Name.
7) Father, multiply unto me and my family the grace and favor of joy and peace, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Have a blessed and wonderful day!
