“VICTORY THAT OVERCOMETH THE WORLD” part 1 : Tuesday June 13

1 John 5:4

"For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith."

There is a link between overcoming and victory. When we overcome any situation, it means that we have victory and vise versa. When we have victory over any situation, it goes to say also that we overcometh.

The Bible passage above repeats the expression of “Overcometh the world. In addition, when God repeats any expression it is meant for us to note, belief and follow through.

Even our faith in Christ Jesus is an extension of how we can overcome the world. Not faith in our our selves. Not faith in our connection in life. Not faith in anything substances that are temporal. Not in our our human efforts. Not faith in the economy, but Faith that relies tremendously on the power of God to overcome in victory. Amen.

To overcome the world, we must stand fast in the word of God. We must be part of the “whatsoever” that is born of God. We must be born again to be born of God. We must work out our salvation with fear and tremble. As believers, we must set our hearts of things of God above, because no one can receive anything except from above. Amen.
