“FAILING OF GRACE OF GOD” – Part I

Hebrews 12:15

"Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled."

It has been said before that God is good to everybody (all) in some measure of grace, but good to some in all things and all the way. That is the mercy and grace we all enjoy from God. It does not matter what we do or we did not do, there is grace for all to function.

The Bible passage above is another revelation that we need to look diligently. Who are we to look unto? Look unto Jesus who is the author and the finisher of our faith. When we look with faith unto Jesus ; we hold unto HIS grace, and there will be greater grace. Every situation will not result in the exact outcome we envisage, but with our eyes fixed unto HIM and patience, God vindicates those that can wait enough NOT to fail HIS Grace.

Paul the Apostle was the worst of the persecutors of the church ; the special grace of God stretched up to him. Grace works with customized situations. Paul became one the forefront teachers of the gospel he once hated. That was grace operating from the highest level of power. He did not fail the grace of God. He looked diligently and did not frustrate the special grace of God upon his life as stated in Galatians 2:21. He did not consider himself qualified but grace qualified him as a leading and special grace Apostle. Submit to the ordinary grace and the will of God and you will be qualified for special grace. AMEN.
